It was a gorgeous day out and a brunette girl could be found by the river. She had her hair up in a high pony tail and was still wearing her demon slaying outfit.
Sango sighed, kneeling down beside the river. She didn't know why she was feeling like this--stressed out and a little unhappy. Maybe it was all this demon slaying she was doing...or Miroku's constant womanizing. She thought she'd be used to it by now, but no. She would just get jealous and angry everytime Miroku laid a hand on another woman.
Sango dipped a finger into the river, the water was cold. After a moment she scooped a handful and splashed it onto her face. Trying to wash away these unhappy feelings.

Miroku moved foward, seeing a figure crouched by the lake. A maiden? He thought, gliding closer.
"Sango...?" He whispered her name under his breath as the figure became clear. "Sango." He smiled, moving to rest next to her.
He took in her expression and thingyed his head to the side. "What are your thoughts? Whats wrong?" He questioned.

Sango didn't reply and tried wiping some of the water off her face. She sighed and looked over at the horizon. "Nothing, I'm fine Miroku, thanks for asking." She tried to keep her voice normal, she didn't know if it worked or not though. [/blockquote]

Miroku let out a slow breath. "Sango..." He said, placing a hand on her arm. "Tell me."
He looked into her eyes. "I want for you to trust in me." He smiled warmly and patted her arm lightly.

"Easier said than done.." Sango muttered, really really hoping that Miroku didn't hear. "Thanks, Miroku, but really, it's nothing important. Just stupid stuff.." She glanced down at his hand, making sure it didn't go lower than where it was already. She looked back up at him and smiled, she hoped it didn't look as fake as it felt.

He looked at her with curious eyes when she commented, easier said than done. Miroku dropped his hand and shrugged.
He saw the falsness to what she said and in the voice she said it in, but if she didn't want to tell him then that was her business, right.
"Okay... Then are you about ready to leave. InuYasha is getting impatient." He said, not really caring. He really just wanted to see if she would talk to him.

"Oh, okay." Sango said, starting to get up. "We wouldn't want to keep Inuyasha waiting, would we? He'll start taking it out on Kagome. And you know how bad that gets." Sango rolled her eyes and laughed.

Miroku stood as well and chuckled to himself. "Yes. And they're both so hard-headed that-" Miroku stopped mid-sentence and looked into the woods. Is that, a demonic ora? He shurgged and turned back to Sango. It wasnt a strong ora.
